Dismissible Offenses
There are some violations that will be dismissed under certain conditions.

Expired Driver’s License
The court may dismiss the expired driver’s license violation if the license is renewed within 20 working days of the date of the citation and a $20 dismissal fee is paid to the court.

Expired Registration
The court may dismiss an expired registration violation if the vehicle is registered within 20 working days of the date of the citation, the late registration fee is paid to the county, and a $20 dismissal fee is paid to the court.

Failure to Change Address
The court may dismiss the failure to change address violation if the address on the driver's license is changed within 20 working days of the date of the citation and a $20 dismissal fee is paid to the court.

Failure to Display Driver’s License
The violation may be dismissed if you had a valid driver’s license at the time of the citation, you provide proof to the court and pay a $10 dismissal fee.

Failure to Maintain Proof of Financial Responsibility / No Insurance
If you are able to provide proof of liability insurance for you, or the vehicle you were driving at the time the citation was written, the violation may be dismissed at no charge after the insurance is verified by the court.

Operating a Vehicle with Only One License Plate, Obscured License Plate, or Defective Equipment
