Annually, the Texas Municipal Library Directors Association presents awards in recognition of outstanding contributions made by public libraries. The Corsicana Public Library was among 39 libraries statewide receiving the award for 2014. The award was conferred for quality programing and services offered to further the continuing education and personal enrichment of community residents.
