Corsicana Fire Chief, Donald McMullan announced his retirement from the Corsicana Fire Department effective January 31, 2018. Chief McMullan is retiring after a distinguished 43 ½ years in the fire service and has served as the City of Corsicana’s Fire Chief since January 1999. He is solely responsible for planning, designing, and starting the Emergency Medical Services program for the City of Corsicana in 2002. The City of Corsicana is grateful for his service and leadership. Chief McMullan is a respected member of the community who has served this City well and has many accomplishments of which to be proud.

Chief McMullan has demonstrated his commitment and dedication to public service. He has been an asset to the Corsicana Fire Department, the City, and the Citizens of Corsicana and Navarro County. His leadership and knowledge has been an asset to the City and will be greatly missed.

The City will begin the process of forming a search committee to find a replacement to lead the department.
