Biography
Ronald W. McGaha, assistant chief of police, joined the Corsicana Police Department in 1980. His duties include overseeing the Criminal Investigation Division, Records Division, Patrol Division, and Internal Affairs.

Assistant Chief McGaha began his law enforcement career with the Corsicana Police Department where he served in communications, reserve police officer, patrol officer, criminal investigations, narcotics investigations, personnel and training, motorcycle patrol, and in 2011 became the assistant chief of police for the Corsicana Police Department. He was named Corsicana Police Officer of the Year on two different occasions in his career. Assistant Chief McGaha also worked for the Sherman Police Department and the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office.

He is a graduate from Blooming Grove High School and attended college at Navarro College in Corsicana where he received an associate's degree with a double major in criminal justice and business.
