Recycling

Effective October 1, 2024, curbside Recycling will no longer be offered. Republic Services will continue to provide a Recycling Drop off Center, at no charge, for residential customers only. A current water bill and identification with matching addresses must be presented for access to the Center. Click here for more information on this!

Items Accepted

  • Aluminum cans
  • Box board (cereal, cake, and cracker boxes)
  • Cardboard
  • Junk mail and envelopes
  • Magazines / catalogs
  • Newspapers and inserts
  • Office and school papers
  • Phone books
  • Plastic bottles
  • Tin and steel cans

Helpful Tips

  • Containers should be rinsed.
  • Flatten out cardboard boxes. If boxes are large (i.e., moving or appliance boxes), please cut them into smaller, more manageable sizes.
  • No caps or lids can be recycled. If left on containers, they become dangerous due to pressure built up when crushed. They become projectiles and can cause serious injury.

  • Food-tainted items (used paper plates, paper towels, napkins)

  • Plastics other than bottles
  • Trash
